Have you ever wondered what it would be like to be in a room full of cheese and be asked to select the best? Where and how would you start? What are the qualities of the best cheese anyway? Well, let our director and Master Judge Ian Roberton take you on that journey.
Ian is a regular judge at the annual International Cheese and Dairy Awards in the U.K. and is their Australasian ambassador . This is the oldest and largest cheese show in the world with over 5500 entries.
Your masterclass@home pack will include 6 cheeses for tasting, plus biscuits, delivered to your door. You will also have access to a live e-masterclass with Ian. He will discuss the basic cheese making process and describe judging procedure and methods for finding the best cheeses in their categories. Ian will also conduct a tasting session for the cheese you have in front of you, describing the different styles, taste and texture of the cheese . During the class, you will have the opportunity to ask questions directly. Ian is happy to share his vast knowledge of ‘all that is cheese’.
